On 8–9 May 2025 we exhibited at Startup JAPAN EXPO 2025, held in the south hall of Tokyo Big Sight.
Organised by Eight, the business card app from Sansan, it is one of Japan's largest startup exhibitions. A then-record 380 companies exhibited, and around 10,000 people attended over the two days.
Four months after founding the company, it was our first large exhibition. We showed two strands of work: AI agent systems connected to real business processes, and Physical AI and robotics built around Vision-Language-Action.
The question we heard most was how much a company can really hand to an AI. Many had tried generative AI and were weighing whether to take the step into actual operations and work on the factory floor. Confirming that in person, repeatedly, shaped a great deal of what we built afterwards.
Thank you to everyone who came by.
